CORE DIRECTIVES

Welcome to the Holodeck. These General Orders ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Participant") and Holodeck Grid Administration ("Holodeck Grid") governing your use of the simulation.

1. Acceptance of Orders

By initializing your personnel file (creating an account), logging in, or beaming into any sector, you agree to be bound by these General Orders and our Subspace Privacy Protocols.

2. Personnel Files

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 standard earth years of age to enlist. Minors are not permitted on the flight deck.
• Security Clearance: You are responsible for maintaining the encryption of your access codes (passwords). Unauthorized access to your terminal must be reported to Security immediately.

3. User Conduct Guidelines

You are solely responsible for your actions within the simulation. The following behaviors constitute a violation of Holodeck safety protocols:

• Illegal Operations: Using the grid for activities prohibited by local law.
• Harassment: Stalking, threatening, or abusing other crew members. Hate speech will result in an immediate account suspension.
• Child Endangerment: STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Any depiction of minors in a sexual context will result in a permanent ban and reporting to planetary authorities.
• Grid Sabotage: Intentionally causing lag, crashing regions, or using scripted attacks against the main computer.
• Impersonation: Claiming to be a ranking officer (Admin) or another crew member.

4. Replicator Pattern Rights

A. User Creations

You retain full copyright of any assets (textures, meshes, scripts) you upload. By uploading, you grant the Holodeck a license to display these items within the simulation.

B. Copyright Infringement

Do not upload stolen patterns. If you believe your work has been replicated without authorization, submit a standard DMCA hail to Administration.

5. Restricted Content Protocols

Content intended for mature audiences is permitted ONLY in sectors designated as "Adult." Sector commanders are responsible for correctly rating their simulation and maintaining access lists.

6. Account Termination

Administration reserves the right to terminate your account at any time for violations of these directives. Suspensions may be temporary (temporary suspension) or permanent (ban).

7. Engineering Disclaimer

THE SIMULATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS". ENGINEERING DOES NOT GUARANTEE 100% UPTIME, ERROR-FREE OPERATIONS, OR FREEDOM FROM TEMPORAL ANOMALIES.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOLODECK GRID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, OR VIRTUAL ASSETS RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

9. Changes to General Orders

We may modify these Orders at any time. We will post the revised Orders on this terminal. Your continued use of the Services after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Orders.
