Procedures regarding the protection of personal sensor logs.
Holodeck Grid Administration is committed to protecting your personal data logs. This document outlines what intelligence we gather from your terminal, how it is secured within the main computer core, and your rights as a member of the crew.
We collect specific telemetry to maintain grid stability:
Data is used strictly for:
We do not sell crew data to Ferengi or any third-party traders. Data is only shared with:
You are responsible for information you broadcast on open frequencies (Public Chat, Group Chat, or Profile bios). This data is visible to other users and cannot be fully secured by Administration.
We utilize SSL/TLS encryption for all subspace transmissions (website traffic). Passwords are hashed and salted. However, no shielding system is 100% impenetrable; proceed with standard caution.
Depending on your planetary sector, you may have rights regarding your data. You may request a copy of your personnel file, request corrections to your account data, or request a full deletion (deletion of data) by contacting Administration via the Helpdesk.
The Holodeck is not designed for cadets under age 13. We do not knowingly collect telemetry from children. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Protocol from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed.
If you have questions about these protocols, hail us via the official Helpdesk or send a subspace message to admin@holodeckgrid.ddns.net.
